Happy #MoodboardMonday, design lovers! This week, we’re diving into a double feature: two stylish interior design schemes created for our client’s Atlanta area guest room. While each approach offers its own distinct vibe, they both share a unifying thread of comfort, thoughtful layering, and personality. Whether you’re drawn to bold contrasts or soft charm, there’s plenty here to spark your imagination. Let’s explore these two fabulous schemes and see how they compare!

First up, we have a fresh and lively palette that leans bold and dynamic. Anchored by a striking black rattan bed, this scheme combines high-contrast black furniture with playful pops of color and texture. Natural elements, like a mango wood nightstand and cheetah-patterned rug, add warmth and grounding to the space, while the muted blue wall color provides a sophisticated and calming backdrop. The mix of patterned bedding keeps the room feeling fun and inviting, while gold accents in the ceiling light and decor lend a subtle touch of glam. This look balances refined finishes with personality-packed details, making it perfect for a guest room that’s both stylish and approachable.

Our second guest room scheme brings a softer, more nostalgic vibe to the table. It’s all about comfort and charm, with a scalloped jute rug setting the stage for a dreamy upholstered bed in light gray. The muted olive green walls, paired with the ceiling painted in a darker tone, create a serene and cocoon-like atmosphere. Vintage-inspired pieces, like the birchwood nightstand and curvy, red-bordered mirror, add warmth and personality. A sunburst metallic ceiling fixture injects a playful, modern edge, contrasting beautifully with the scheme’s vintage undertones. In contrast to the first scheme, this design is quieter and more nostalgic, focusing on muted tones and soft curves to create a relaxed and timeless feel.
