About Jessica Davis
With an Art History degree from Princeton University and a Master’s in Interior Design from The New England School of Art and Design, Jessica finds herself especially influenced by the texture and dimension found in historic and contemporary art and architecture. She also draws inspiration from her childhood years in Australia, Hong Kong and Texas as well as her travels throughout Asia and Europe. Prior to founding her own businesses, Jessica worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, for the TV show Bob Vila’s Home Again and then spent close to 10 years on Wilson Associates’ New York and LA teams where she designed many international hotel and resort projects. She prides herself in being able to enhance the original bones of an interior with period specific finishes, while also modernizing the space with an eclectic mix of furniture and soft goods – always with a touch of the unexpected. She has worked on new-builds, restored Victorian gems, and taken mid-century modern homes into the present day. Atelier Davis is staffed by a dedicated team of working mothers. Jessica always seeks to lift-up women in her work and to further her company mission of mothers helping mothers.
“Our design projects are about the details that make a space feel special, not too precious, and that give it a livable, layered style.”—JESSICA DAVIS
Jessica now resides in Buckhead, Atlanta with her husband Scott and two young children Lucy and Bryan. When she is not working on expanding the Nest line and her New York and Atlanta-based design practice, she can be found volunteering with local charitable organizations, gardening, trying out DIY projects on her mid-century modern home and searching for ways to combine Nest Studio pieces with her vintage furniture finds.
