We’re continuing through our Santa Rosa Beach project, this time with the kitchen and dining area. Both sit alongside the great room we shared recently, so we’re carrying the warm wood and sculptural shapes into these adjoining rooms. The goal is to make the three areas feel connected, with plenty of places to cook, eat, and spend time together.

In the dining area, an oval wood table with stacked pedestal bases gives the scheme a playful focal point. Upholstered chairs add comfort, while airy pendants balance the table’s substantial shape. Wood ceilings and pale flooring bring warmth, with dark architectural details adding contrast.

The kitchen pairs rich wood cabinetry with pale, veined stone. Rounded details in the inspiration images soften the cabinetry’s clean lines, while slim black pendants give the lighting a more graphic feel. Textured counter stools pick up the upholstered seating in the dining area and offer a casual spot to perch.

With these adjoining rooms, we’re making it easy for gathering to move from the sofa to the counter to the dinner table.
