I’m so happy to have stumbled across this living room by Alyssa Kapito Interiors on Pinterest because it let me into this designer’s world of refined modern taste. Though often outfitted in muted color palettes her rooms are statement making often because of the striking array of textures, shapes and styles she sources in her furniture and decor. In this particular NYC pad I am obsessed with the hanging light fixture (I wish I could find the exact replica!) as well as the black tooth-inspired stools. There is so much to look at in this space and yet it’s not cluttered, likely due to her very limited color scheme (or lack thereof). I’ll continue to admire Kapito’s thoughtful work and will probably drool over her choice of unexpected pieces in rooms to come…
