Hi, it’s Kate Cabiltes!
Though I’ve never had the pleasure of staying in Hero Beach Club, I discovered this hot spot while randomly scrolling Instagram. Located at The End of the World on Montauk, this beach haven opened last summer in a 1950s motel. Designed by Manhattan design firm Curious Yellow, the hotel gives off a “zen” vibe which makes sense considering much of their furniture was commissioned from the tranquil Bali. Their public space is used to showcase up and coming artists and I am enamored by the geometric wall art in the photos which tugs at my child of the 80s heartstrings. Some fun more modern furniture and accents have been placed throughout. One of my favorite statements is the pair of Pedro Friedeberg hand chairs in the lobby which are just so fun! Curious to hear, would you put these in your home? Comment below!
