I’m so thrilled to participate in the Style Challenge. I don’t have any kids, but have close friends with some of the cutest babies you’ve ever seen, so in a small way. I feel like I’ve gotten to participate in the fun:)
I’d like to offer you new moms a bit of empowerment as you begin this fabulous stage in your life – Don’t forget about yourself! Wear something that makes you happy and makes you smile just a little bit…something fun! Of course your baby is absolutely beautiful, and nothing compliments your radiant glow like a fun new outfit.
Some great items to have:
A loose and forgiving, yet simply pretty dress; red lipstick to make you feel alert even when you’re not; a bold statement necklace; a trendy bag to carry around everything for yourself and your new baby (diaper bags don’t have to look childish); fabulous shoes; and socks for a little touch of whimsy.
