Recently, I went to an estate sale in Pasadena.  There wasn’t much there to be had, but I did find this not-so-great-looking pair of brass lamps.  The shades were hideous and one of the turn switches was missing…. but at $25 for the pair, not a bad deal.  So I packed them into the Fit and brought them home.
