Hey there, it’s Kate Cabiltes!

I’ve had this living room by Melanie Burstin, former design assist of Emily Henderson flagged for quite some time. This beautiful west coast living room already welcomes tons of natural sunlight and I admire what Melanie did to further beautify the space. She achieved a minimalist mid century style that still has significant visual interest through art, texture and shades of neutrals with a few minor pops of color. I especially love the furniture pieces that she chose, those Scandi style chairs and floor lamp being my absolute favorites.
