One of my favorite elements of residential interior design is working with art, whether that’s existing client art, commissioning art, or sourcing art from local galleries or some of my favorite artists.

I recently spoke at ADAC 2024 on this topic and also connected with Business of Home’s Kaitlyn Peterson on this being one of my “design superpowers”…

“My superpower is using art in interiors in new and exciting ways. I also love mixing high and low—estate sale finds and Ikea hacks mixed with high-end, trade-only and custom sources for lighting and upholstery.”

– Jessica Davis, Atelier Davis & Founder, Creative Director of Nest Studio

“In her own home, Davis pairs vintage art, a self-portrait by her father, a piece by Atlanta artist Allison James (bottom) and a large-scale piece she created with her children with vintage Milo Baughman chairs from Chairish, a reflective table from Hay and a cowhide from Moore & Giles.”
