Team Atelier Davis is thrilled to reveal the transformation of a stunning home in Atlanta’s historic Ansley Park neighborhood. The house’s beautiful architecture and classic details gave us an ideal starting point, but our clients were eager for a refresh that would bring out its full potential. Check out how we brought it all to life in this week’s #MoodboardMonday blog!

Starting with moodboards that set a bold direction for the new interior design, we reimagined the living room with vibrant color and personalized details.

Clockwise from Top Left: Hudson Valley Lighting Accord in Aged Brass, Soho Home Lucas Chandelier, Erica Shamrock Ziggy in Lava Lamp, Zak + Fox Incanto No. ZFIN-03, Made Goods Ellery Accent Table, West Elm Shelter Daybed, Made Goods Novak, Brunschwig & Fils Jourdain Tape in Beige available from Kravet, Pearce Dining Chair from Ballard Designs

The original space had plenty of potential but felt underwhelming. The neutral palette didn’t highlight the room’s architectural features or reflect the homeowners’ style.

To address this, we focused on enhancing the natural light and creating a sophisticated yet livable living room. We incorporated some of our client’s existing pieces, adding fresh, calming tones and a few eye-catching elements and furnishings for contrast. The result is a space that feels cozy yet refined — a perfect balance for both relaxation and entertaining.

For the dining room, we envisioned a space that felt inviting and eclectic, ideal for hosting gatherings. We were inspired by a mix of vintage and modern elements to strike the right balance between elegance and playfulness.

Much like the living room, the dining room lacked the warmth and personality our clients were hoping for.

To transform it, we introduced a striking blue wall color which instantly added depth and drama. A curated selection of furnishings, drapery, patterns, and materials brought the room to life without overwhelming the space.
