For our recent project in the Morningside neighborhood of Atlanta we’ve created three bar schemes for our client’s home, and continued the motif of mid-century modern infused with Japanese elements. In the first scheme a stunning moody-blue quartzite counter is anchored by Shou Sugi Ban cabinetry, and grasscloth wallpaper adds a delightful touch of texture. Glassy grey-green tile from Fireclay is paired with slatted shelving in the second option, contrasting the last scheme where Benjamin Moore’s Essex Green paint provides an atmospheric backdrop. We think each option would be a flawless compliment to the rest of the home. Which one is more your style?
