Welcome back to another edition of #moodboardmonday! Atelier Davis is diving into a new project in Atlanta’s Brookhaven neighborhood, where we’re crafting a kids’ room that’s airy, playful, and eclectic. Check out the schemes below, each offering two distinct and exciting visions for this room.

In the first scheme, we aimed for a warm and inviting atmosphere, starting with walls and a ceiling elegantly wrapped in sienna wall paint. A plywood-clad bunk bed adds a touch of natural warmth, while the built-in hideout provides a fun and adventurous space for kids to explore. Serene colors like pink, mist blue, and royal cobalt create a calm yet vibrant vibe, perfect for restful nights and creative days.

For the second scheme we wanted to bring a bold and dynamic energy to the table. Navy checkered wallpaper sets a striking backdrop for the color-blocked bunk bed, and a custom built hideout adds an element of surprise and delight. This scheme is all about lively patterns, vivid colors, and an overall sense wonder.
