Team Atelier Davis is working on a new project just outside of Boston — a bright, personality-packed living room in Brookline, Massachusetts. We’re creating two fresh schemes that embrace bold color, sculptural forms, and a rich mix of texture and pattern. Each look builds on a few beloved existing pieces while bringing new energy to the space.
The first scheme leans warm and grounded, layering in rich reds, dusky plaids, and tonal stripes for a lived-in, collected feel. The silhouettes are modern but soft, with rounded tables and cozy upholstery that invite lounging without sacrificing style. Touches of indigo and punchy pattern keep things interesting — think quiet drama with a design-savvy wink.

The second scheme shifts toward coastal cool with earthy ochres, denim blues, and tactile textiles. We leaned into soft stripes and painterly florals for a look that feels both curated and relaxed. Sculptural lighting anchors the palette, while bold accents give the space a confident edge. It’s a little more graphic, a little more layered — but just as inviting.

Both schemes reflect the spirit of the home: playful, collected, and unafraid of color. Whether you lean warm or cool, the throughline here is a love of thoughtful contrasts and a fearless approach to mixing it up.
