Hi, it’s Kate Cabiltes!
I recently stumbled across a peek into the new The Nomad Hotel Los Angeles on The Neo-Trad and instantly was smitten. Already a fan of their Manhattan location, this LA hotel also designed by industry talent Jacques Garcia is a 1920s gem of a space.
While the public spaces are fabulous (see images on The Neo-Trad), the guest suites are especially striking. The bold modern furniture and fixtures (the bedside sconces being my absolute favorites) make statements over the light mint wall backdrop.
This nook in the guest room is striking with the unique shaped love seat covered in such an elegant upholstery fabric. The funky floor lamp and emerald green framed windows are details that don’t go unnoticed.
Overall there is an inspiring use of jewel toned pieces with classic timeless accents. This allows the rooms to give off a feeling of elegance but still of relaxation. If you are a hotel fiend like me and enjoy carrying out the look of a favorite hotel in your home, it can be achieved quite easily and on a budget.
