Is it just me or is this terrazzo trend starting to grow on you? I was never too familiar with terrazzo until recently when I’ve seen the look popping up all over the place. Traditional terrazzo is a composite material with chips of quartz, granite, marble, et cetera used for floors and walls. Lately this same look has been created in interiors without the actual materials by way of wallpapers, accent pieces, and furniture. The look is unique and fun, often resembling a confetti-like texture. Terrazzo pieces in your home could easily make a statement by way of small elements or a large statement such as an accent wall. By going for the terrazzo look and not the actual material it’s much more cost effective and easy to switch out the scheme if you grow tired of the pattern over time.
