For the past few weeks we’ve been sharing the concept images for a new project we’re working on in Dallas, and now we’re on to the next phase: scheming! We’re starting with the entry and living room, two spaces that set the tone for how the house feels day to day and when guests arrive. Our goal is to create calm and functional rooms, without sacrificing personality.
Entry
Both rooms are grounded in a soft white backdrop that keeps the spaces bright and open. In the entry, a deep green accent wall adds contrast and depth, helping define the space while still feeling quiet and composed. A mix of warm wood, clean-lined storage, and layered lighting keeps the entry practical, uncluttered, and welcoming.
Living Room
The living room builds on the same palette with earthy neutrals, natural materials, and furniture that balances comfort with clean forms. Pieces are selected to support everyday use, while still being capable of accommodating larger gatherings when needed. Art and accent details introduce color and play without overwhelming the room, reinforcing the clients’ preference for restraint with moments of surprise.
