Our Greenwich Village project is moving right along, and this week we’re sharing the latest schemes for the kitchen and dining nook. If you remember we kicked things off with the entry, setting the tone for a home that balances classic charm with fresh, modern details. Now, we’re stepping into the heart of the home — where meals are made, conversations flow, and every element plays a role in shaping the space.

For the kitchen, we leaned into a palette that feels timeless but not predictable. Think warm neutrals paired with deep navy for contrast, subtle brass touches, and textures that add depth without overwhelming the space. The cabinetry color grounds the design, while thoughtful hardware choices and a refined lighting selection keep things crisp. This scheme is all about function meeting beauty — practical choices that still have personality.

Every great kitchen needs an inviting dining nook, and we’ve put together two different moods for this area:

A Rich & Cozy Take

This scheme layers warm tones, tactile fabrics, and a deep burgundy accent that adds a little drama. Soft upholstery meets classic wood finishes, creating a space that feels both relaxed and polished—perfect for lingering over dinner.

A Lighter, Airier Feel

This version takes a fresher approach with crisp whites, soft blues, and a mix of textures that play with contrast without feeling heavy. There’s a quiet elegance in this scheme, with subtle piping and intricate textile choices that add just the right amount of detail.
