Sketches play a pivotal role in the interior design process, and at Atelier Davis, we use them to offer a vision of a potential final result to our clients. Typically sketching materializes during the early stages, guiding discussions and shaping the overall direction of a residential or commercial design project. Check out a couple of sketches we created below for a traditional residential kitchen.

In this first sketch, a moody green island takes center stage, accented by a stunning slab marble backsplash.

In the second sketch, the same island shines in a different way against a simple tile backsplash and terra cotta flooring. Equally warm, yet fewer modern elements.

After pulling together style and mood boards, our interior design sketches really breathe life into a room for our clients. They can easily see how a few different changes can shape the look and feel, and we get feedback on what feels right for them!
