We’re back at our Sandy Springs project, and this time we’re taking a look at the scheme for our client’s dining room. The goal was to create a gathering place with enough presence to feel special, but none of the stiffness often associated with a formal dining room.

We started with a streamlined wood table and curved bouclé chairs, then introduced contrast through a traditional Persian-style rug, sculptural chandelier, and midcentury-inspired credenza. The mix of clean lines, expressive forms and familiar details gives the room a collected quality rather than tying it to a single era. Saturated blues with notes of rust and mustard bring the pieces together while adding depth to the overall scheme.
