Atelier Davis is back with another peek into our Greenwich Village project, this time focusing on the bathrooms. Each of the three concepts we presented to our clients achieves a balance of function and style, with a mix of vintage and modern elements to create a timeless feel. While each design has its own personality, they all share a thoughtful approach to materials, color, and lighting. Take a look below!

Scheme #1: Classic Meets Character

This bathroom design blends deep, moody hues with warm, vintage details for a space that feels both refined and inviting. A soft gray-blue envelops the walls, setting a rich backdrop for a sculptural mirror with antique detailing. Warm wood tones add depth, while polished metal fixtures bring a modern edge. Marble surfaces complete the look, adding a touch of classic luxury.

  • Classic materials like wood and marble for warmth and texture.
  • A vintage-inspired mirror with delicate scalloped edges.
  • Sleek, modern fixtures to balance the old with the new.

Scheme #2: Understated Elegance

Light and airy, this bathroom is all about subtle sophistication. Soft, creamy walls create a bright foundation, allowing sculptural lighting and clean-lined cabinetry to shine. A minimalist storage solution keeps the space functional without overwhelming the design, while refined metal accents add a touch of polish.

  • A soft, neutral wall color to keep the space light and open.
  • A sculptural wall light for a subtle statement.
  • Thoughtful use of metals and finishes for understated contrast.

Scheme #3: Playful Sophistication

This design takes a bolder approach with dynamic textures and rich materials. Deep-toned green tiles create a striking contrast against warm wood cabinetry, while statement light fixtures adds a hint of drama. A vanity in a deep, saturated hue grounds the space, complemented by natural stone with bold veining for an extra layer of interest.

  • Contrasting tile in a rich, moody shade for visual impact.
  • Striking light fixtures that doubles as a sculptural element.
  • Natural stone with bold veining for an unexpected pop of color.
