Team Atelier Davis is working on a refresh for a returning client’s primary suite. We already shared the updated bedroom design options, and now we’re turning our attention to the bath. The goal here: honor what’s already working while layering in fresh color, texture, and form.
Both schemes keep the existing floor tile and mirrors, but each one shifts the mood in a different direction.
The first scheme leans bold yet grounded, with walls wrapped in an earthy red softened by brown undertones. The warmth is punctuated by black hardware and lighting, while soft textiles and plum accents balance the richness. The effect is cozy and cocooning — perfect for a room meant to feel private and personal.
The second scheme takes a lighter, more adaptable approach. The star here is a mid-tone paint that blends gray with warm green, creating a versatile backdrop. Paired with natural oak, striped textiles, and clean black accents, this version feels calm, fresh, and quietly sophisticated.
Both directions keep the bones of the space intact, but the paint choices alone set dramatically different tones. Whether leaning into the enveloping red or the versatile green-gray, the refresh brings the bath into dialogue with the new bedroom while letting it stand on its own.
