Lacquered walls? Say less. At Atelier Davis we think there’s something undeniably glam about a high-gloss finish. It bounces light, adds drama, and makes a space feel just a little bit more dressed up. We love the look of a fully lacquered room (like this bold blue moment from our Buckhead French Colonial project), but let’s be real: true lacquer is not for the faint of heart. The process is meticulous, time-consuming, and best left to the pros.

That’s why we’re also loving high gloss finishes in other, lower-commitment forms — from slick lighting to reflective cabinetry to statement furniture pieces. These glossy gems deliver the same punchy polish without all the painstaking prep.
